Gifted & Talented

The Gifted and Talented program at Arkansas River ESC supports three key state-mandated goals:

Goal A: Assist member districts to meet the State’s Standards for Gifted and Talented Education and Advanced Placement.

Goal B: Serve as a liaison with the Arkansas Department of Education, Office of Gifted and Talented and Advanced Placement, parent and professional organizations, and other public and private agencies.

Goal C: Promote gifted education through public awareness and advocacy.

In order to meet these goals, the Gifted and Talented program at Arkansas River ESC offers a variety of training opportunities and other targeted support for member school districts. Below are some of the current professional development and activities that are offered by the Gifted and Talented program.
